I know the feeling. Seattle seems even further from NY when you are waiting for an amp from there!

It may have been norovirus...not sure...

We’re pretty much over it now. Though, my wife and I are still fatigued by it all. The kids are nearly all better.

I’ve eaten very little since Thursday, but have not been too hungry, either. What’s weird is how this event has changed my tastes for things. For fluids I’ve had little else but water. I have had at least a glass of juice a day to keep the electrolytes up, but I have no real desire for anything...coffee, tea, juice, milk, or soft drinks...just water. I did have a glass of milk a day ago for the protein. But, whereas I normally love milk, I really didn’t have a desire for it. But, I have been slugging down water.

For meat, I had a can of tuna fish this afternoon. That’s the first meat I’ve had since Wednesday morning...unless you count the few meager pieces of chicken in chicken noodle soup.

Fasting is a great thing, we should all do it once a week.
Sure Thursday to Sunday is a little too long, unfortunately here it was forced by illness but something to consider from now on.

My household was a head / chest / flu / stomach flu sh*t show a couple weeks ago.

i didnt get the stomach thing though.

I was recently thinking about the fasting thing too.
 
So anyway, this is the latest I have ever done my taxes.
My tax scenario is very typical, but kids are grown past child tax credit, 1 of 2 past dependent status.
Turns out even with my federal W-4 withholding at zero for over half of last year, we still owe about $1k.
WTF.
 
Dont get me started I'm in outside sales the IRS unilaterally REMOVED all my deductions.....all of them ....in one swoop...without warning (oh those deductions for shipping samples and mileage and travel and home office....gone...no justification no vote just gone) .... I got nailed as well. :(

Between the fed and state I paid in about three grand.
