I'm the opposite. I buy at least 5, 6 albums a week. Sometimes a lot more - If I stumble into something new that I really dig I'll buy their whole catalog at once.
I had to come to an agreement with the wife though. I have so many CD's that the storage has gotten ridiculous; they're in every nook and cranny of my house, and now I have probably a thousand stored in my office, so I have started downloading music instead of buying CD's. It's a strange adjustment because I spend money but don't "get" anything for it, and then I have to have multiple hard drives for backup.

That’s true enough. I don’t consider Michael Schenker a metal guitarist, really. And to me Rudolf Schenker has always been more of a songwriter than a guitarist as well. Accept is as metal as it gets, though!

It's rather interesting how the term "heavy metal" has shifted. My dad always told me that back when he was in his teens AC/DC was considered "metal".
