Hot Rodding a DSL40C???

Well, Robert. It is possible, some of your brethren may have these amps. Or know friends who do, and or keep an eye out in the for sale places.

The Brotherhood will come through.

"We’re both using two rack mounted Randall heads in stereo through Randall cabinets. What’s unusual is that most of our cabinets are at the front of the stage, so they effectively act as foldback systems."

I even bet the place I took SMitty to, Atomic Music may have at least 3-10 of all our suggestions in their inventry as we speak.
I can always pop down and see what I see.

Two amps I would like to try:

Randall RC235 Stereo Chorus 2x10" Combo 70w Guitar Amp W Reverb

Laney LX120RT 2x12 120w combo

Originally Laney made a 6 knob 50 and 100 watt Lead amp I believe. They just called them Pro Tube Lead models.
Then along came another 2 knobs and High Gain Low Gain and push pull pots and channel switching. This was the AOR Pro Tube Lead Models
