o.k.

I know I have SHITe luck with pedals---

this thing is well put together seems very nice has MANY adjustables-- and will work (according to promos) with guitar and bass........now-- all that said........

do all WAH pedals have an ANOOYING "contact spot" where you can HEAR it clcik from off to on when you engage the pedal???

becasue this ones is ANNOYING AS SHITE \

thoughts-- comments-----reasons to NOT return it tomorrow???

zero sound when he steps on and off---- this has a DISTINCT "pop" through the amp

I still have an Ibanez weeping demon wah. I think it’s been discontinued but you can set it to activate as soon as you apply pressure and you can adjust how long it takes to turn off when you take your foot off. I love that thing!

Yep...you got a sh!tty switch...don’t know what the odds are with those.
Not all wah pedals do it, but some do.
Not the optical ones though.

I never hear the click, but then I only use my wah pedals at band volume. There are enough other things going on that you would never hear it. I never even heard it when recording stuff. That's with Cry-Babies. That's what I usually recorded and played live with.

Well-- I dont recall a click with the Morley bad Horsie I had -- or the Danelctro pedal I had that looked like a friggin cadilac! -- so if low end "kitch" liek the Dano didnt click -- something is wrong here--
distinctive po/crackle when you go slow -- click if fast -- and the transition from off to on is HUGE even with the boost off---no something is wrong with this monkey Im thinking

IMHO, the plainer the way the better....

cant find any complaints online of similar -- I tried it in 2 SS and 1 tube amp-- and tried it on the walwart and a 9v -- same result in all tries

My '70s Morley Power Wah is really cool. Since it has the on/off switch on the side, you can leave the rocker where you like it the best. Works great for doing the Michael Schenker "half cocked" sound. If the damn thing wasn't so huge (and need a new light bulb and cleaning), I'd consider using it all the time again.

well this one has the adjustment which makes it easily usable for bass AND guitar--
the feature list is certainly worth the buy in -- the boost seemed decent as well....
will see if the next one does the same--

IT could be as SG John implied--- I play at suych low volumes -- (Vol setting 1-2 range on most my amps unless attenuated at 1-2 then the amp vol is KRUNK!) and I am damn near sitting ON TOP of the amp--- perhaps I am hearing what is "there" but in live or band setting is perceivable do to ambient noise?

I have a manual switch on mine. It’s a nice smooth switch that I cherrypicked for it.
I get a tiny tick as the circuit kicks in at full, high frequency end, press down...and I pull back.
No thumping for me.
