So, today I hooked up all my old 1980's/1990's vintage pedals, ran them into my 1997 British-Made Marshall VS-265 2X12 Stereo Chorus Combo and did a quick soundcheck.

Pedal order is Boss FV30L and Boss DD-3 into effects loop.

GE-7 / CS-3 / NS-2 into the front of the amp.

This was open miked in my music room (hardwood floor with desk and sofa only) with a vocal microphone - a Scarlett Studio CM-25 - (as I don't have an instrument mic here) from a distance of 7 feet from the amp at a 45° angle to the edge of the cabinet.

Volume was an ear shattering '8' on the dial (65 watts British) and this was as loud as the rig would go without speaker breakup.

I know this isn't a stellar recording, but it's one of the few opporunities I have had to run this rig this loud. Delay was not in play for this recording:

Equipment Test - Gibson les Paul through VS-265
