"Un-potting" pickups

I've got plenty of leftover white spirit after painting my house, if I were to try it out on something. But how would you get rid of the smell afterwards? The pup would reek of paint thinner...

The smell isn't wonderful, but it does vanish in a day or so.

That's scary...Last time somebody asked me about Gay prostitution because they were 'just curious' they ended up with Transgender Surgery.... :)

Transgender surgery has to be one of the most unpleasant scams ever inflicted on a person. It does nothing to fix the problem, and the suicide rate post-surgery is unchanged from that of non-surgical victims. The hackers and slashers are the most immoral members of all the medical trade.

I always though having both sex organs would be interesting, but then I would probably never leave the house. I'd be busy playing hide the wurst all day...

Seriously, though, I know a lot of people who did the gender re-assignment things and all seem to be pretty happy thus far. Of course, in Palm Springs California, it's super common...

Inter-sex (both sets of genitals) is another matter. But that isn't what trans-gender is all about. As for satisfaction, what you are getting is a self-selecting group's opinion. The sad suicide victims aren't around to voice an opinion.

I agree with you, Don P, I can only comment on my small group of acquiescence.

There's plenty of people dreaming of pieces of land around those parts. It isn't ugly there - any piece in particular?

Well, keep in mind that here in Socal, you pay over $1,000,000USD for a large home in a good area. There's a large, square stone home with a watchtower for less than $1,000,000USD. I will try to find the particulars in a bit...

I know, it's really cheap to buy up there. A million won't even get you a small apartment around these parts. But I'm a Londoner - I love the vibe, the theatres, the clubs, the shops, the six local airports that regularly take me all over the world, the people - everything. There is no way I could abandon all that.

I can understand that!

It's a castle actually. Something like 10 rooms, but on a castle-scale, it's small...I love the entire look of it....land and all.

Remember that around those parts being a landowner carries responsibilities. You'll probably be expected to deflower all the local virgins on their wedding night. Actually it's near Glasgow - there are no virgins

That's rather nice. I could get used to that. Big question though - what flag are you going to fly on that big flag pole?

But a word of warning about Dalmoak Castle. It's not old - late Victorian. And worst of all it is somehow Grade I listed. That means you can't do anything to it, inside or out, that changes its appearance. You even need to keep the paint the same colour on the walls.

I could be fine with those restrictions. I rather like the vintage look. I have no idea what flag to fly. Are there any requirements?
