Just stumbled on this in bassic.ch on three hot basses from Epiphone:
a) a Thunderbird with early 60s hardware - yes, thunderbuckers:
b) an Embassy (Wilshire as bass) with the same hardware
c) an archtop bass with solid spruce top, i.e. carved!
If the archtop bass is acoustically usable, its proce will be a bargain. Anyway, to me its looks are a bit traditional.
