Incoming new amp day!

I just pulled the trigger on a Fender 68 Custom twin Reverb 2x12, i am excited! I cant wait to hear those shimmering chiming cleans! I currently do not own an amp with any head room, so this will be a treat!

The Twin will easily take your head off. The Deluxe is one of the greatest amps of all time in my humble opinion. Al the different versions have something to offer.

Well-- I have a MEsa w/ 1, 12" Celestion........cant imagine 2 and 55 MORE watts--- yes-- it would surely kill me---- either once turned on-- or just getting it in the truck!

I'm stoked to get it it should arrive Thursday. I'll have absolutely NO problem hanging with the guy I jam with that play drums. I have to really crank my phaez daisycutter (14 watts) to match his volume.

65 lbs... not too bad...

I use to have an old '70s Ampeg VT-22 100 watt, 2x12 Combo that originally weight 88 lbs.... But the original owner in 1978 had upgraded the 2 speakers to the Electrovoice SRO's, aka "coffee cans". The amp now weighed 113 lbs...

I have a drum set at the house, along with a bass amp and bass guitars, so when I jam with friends they just come to my place. They dont have to bring gear unless they want to, and I dont have to lug it around
