Tal Wilkenfeld Speaks...

I've always been fascinated by Tal Wilkenfeld's talents on Bass in her performances with Jeff Beck... At only 20 years old at the time! Have not paid attention to where here career went since then. I guess her Jeff Beck days lasted till 2010. All I know, besides her "killer" prog-rock-jazz bass playing skills, is that she's an Aussie, … she's cute, ... and has the hair of a Goddess.

But today, for the first time, I have heard her speak...

She sings too. I really like her voice - pure Aussie with no concession to Mid-Atlantic (or Mid-Pacific in her case)

Wow! I had no idea! Tal has a very pleasant voice... kind of Celtic like. The player on the Tele has a very unique style on the slide. Thoroughly enjoyed this video... (y)

I sometimes use pictures or videos of Tal when pressing my point
that neck shapes don't matter. Anyone watching this tiny lovely woman
working her way around the 34" scale of the Fender Bass has to admit
that small hands are NO HANDICAP, and the human hand can adapt to
any shape or scale, from a Uke to a Double bass, without fuss.

But I had not seen these later videos, thanks for posting.
Yes, I am a fan.

I would have her baby

er wait-- no that is I WOULD HAVE HER, baby -- thats better yes

I have guitars older than her .....this is depressing....... never mind

Watching her play -- 1 thing comes to mind (well 2) -- her left hand form is perfect -- text book -- at 1:58 they show this CLOSE UP--
very well done
the other thing will not be mentioned

I am here to educate and annoy---- mostly annoy but well you get the picture---

I think you need to send me the Harmony as tuition for the education ;)

and your welcome ;)
