He is one of my top 3 guitarist of all time. From that short preview, you can tell just how spiritual he is.

I remember rushing home from high school to figure out another couple of lines of Samba Pa Ti. His music made me feel something like no music ever did before. Then again, I was just a kid.

Cool dude. He has created a signature tone that is instantly recognizable. I have heard a few of his works. Always very creative and unique.

Once he made political statements in 2011 insulting directly the people of Arizona, Altanta, Georgia, and the entire USA for immigration law enforcement, no mas Carlos.

He is a great soulful player but there is no shortage of others i would rather listen to.

I am sure many players I like do not share my views, and I can leave it alone.
But once you become an activist, you run the substantial risk of alienating half your audiences.

I do like some of those PRS Santana guitars though.
