Bought used for a very fair price by a nice fellow. It has Razor THVP bridge pickup, GFS '59 neck pickup and GFS XGP bridge and tailpiece. I was very ready to swap the pups, but they sound amazing, excepy maybe a sligh too much treble on the bridge for my taste. They stay for now, but if you see them posted for grabs, I would act quick, because the only reason to change them would be that I have a bunch of "corky" pickups in the draw

They're both nice looking guitars, congrats & enjoy guys. RVA, I kinda like a bit of a trebley bridge pickup as I use the volume/tone controls. Roll them back to find my tone, then I always have that bit "extra" when I want it. Cheers
 
agiles are one of the best kept secrets of the guitar world. fantastic instruments that not too many people know about. congrats!

Thanks! I tried your suggestion and it worked quite nicely. Rolling back the pup volume to 8 really tamed the high end, so I may keep it. I may slap a cover on it though!

So I decided to keep these wonderful pups as is...except one needed a cover! As part of my ongoing lifestyle of impatience, this cover was installed while the pups was still wired into the guitar. Just remove the pup rings, flip it over, heat, press and bango!! Covered pup

I don't and I had no choice without changing the tailpiece. This bridge is part of a "system". The tailpiece does not have a slot, it is a full circle. The studs are one solid shaft and they do not have a lip underneath, so you cant lift the tailpiece. This means you either top wrap or have an extreme angle to the bridge. I may eventually change the tailpiece, but so far it is unobjectionable.

Mainly, (but partially to placate the wife) to make room for the AD-2300, and just not getting played much.
As are many Agile LP, and other LP types, it is on the heavy side at around 10lb.
Thats what the specs say; we dont have a scale.

When I want to play a 2 HB LP type, I find I reach for the AXL first.
My stable needs to consist of enough variety but I cant justify keeping any that just dont get played or are redundant.
i can see having more than 1 of one type; with different pick up config. etc.
