Special Editing Privileges for "Members Gear for Sale"?

In the Members Gear for Sale, can a system be created that allows the OP to edit the title of the thread?

I would like to add the word: SOLD... or: ALL SOLD, to the title when it justifies it. At least this allows any viewer to know up front whether the item for sale is still available or not without having to open up the thread.

Unfortunately it does go away. If only the feature to edit the thread's title by the OP could remain forever.

Can you add to the title, with all Caps and Bold: ALL SOLD!
EX: REVERB Pedals... 2 Very Nice Ones! ALL SOLD!
