Actually the neck on that guitar isn't maple...it's mahogany. That wood looks real good and is reddish in hue. Red compliments the green body which makes for a perfect & yummy match. It's a delightfully tasty looking guitar!:)

Edit:: On second glance it sort of does look like maple with a dark reddish stain.:hmmm:

YOu have a Golden TRinity here:

1. A guitar you know you want, have played in shop, and lust for.
2. A killer deal was struck, especially as their pricing is increasing substantially.
3. Your wife told you to "go buy that guitar"!! Priceless alone.

Thanks very much Sysco!!! I really like the colours of the Green, Black and cream and Black pickups and the Rosewood Fretboard. The neck i'm not sure what the finish is? It looks like the same neck as my Core CT which is Mahogany. Yet Godin site claims maple. I have 4 Godins now Sysco. The thing I am sure about the neck is its fast, super smooth. I found out from other source, the neck is maple with dark-stained smooth satin finish.

Thanks jtcnj!!!! This guitar I am right into , Its light, its a great player the neck is super fast, like my Core CT, Its another keeper!!

Blackie according to the Godin site, they say its Maple, but I am like you in saying, I think its Mahogany as well, maybe its a printing error? Thanks I am really enjoying playing this axe!! Just found out from another source, the neck is Maple with dark-stained smooth satin finish.
