I was browsing the web for some Ric stuff and found this.

There's enough material here for a LOT of laughing. People like a given Guitar brand or not. There’s no good or bad here.

That's quite a thread there...

Personally I have never found the love for Rickenbacker guitars. The basses slay but I have just never gelled with the guitars - and I had a source at the factory that could have gotten me one at cost!

Interesting how people still talk in terms of "best" or "worst" guitars. There's no such thing. Companies make guitars. You like them or you don't.

I cant say I have ever disliked any of them I have played-- cant afford one--- but dont dislike them --
I did the next best thing
Created MY own from a kit
and it is one of my all time faves--

Ive always wanted a Ric 12 string.

Both my wife and son love their 620 12's. Being a rubbish player I find the necks a little too narrow.

I don’t think it has anything to do with your skill. 620 are small guitars, people with big hands often find them narrow and small in every way.

I myself love mine, I have small hands and am a short fellow. The 620 is light as an SG, has more balance and the neck feels even more comfortable to me
