I have retired once already and have income from that. I will retire for a second time in 7 years. Then add in my 401K, Social Security...etc and I'm set.
All my property is paid off so I only have to worry about taxes, food and utilities...
...and when I say win the lottery I mean the BIG $$$$!
Really depends on how much. There is nothing that I need at this point in my life; it's all down to want. And what I probably want more than anything is to retire, so if I came across enough money to make that happen I would make sure my living arrangements are set and then quit my job and stare at the ocean along with my bride.

Same here, I don't need anything (other than good health). I have 5 sisters and a brother, so I would pay off all their mortgages, buy them each 2 nice cars and then give each of them a million $.
I like the home we are in now, but there is no space to build a couple of nice out building (or wings). I like to have a 20' x 40' area for a wood shop and then a separate barn like building for music stuff. It would have a recording room, a stage room and a place for the guys to just hang out and BS and play.
Then I'd go and buy all of Joe B's guitars![]()
It's funny how no one can just have fun with the idea of spending money wildly...we all know we won't win the lottery, most don't even play.
Forget about everyone else and your health and tell me what you'd splurge on? There would be plenty left after you were kind and generous...
I LOVE music! It has saved me and kept me sane through many rough times. That is why I would build a house around the idea
of having a monster of a stereo system and listening room. Of course along with that my collection of records would have a place to grow immensly!
Maybe a recording studio to help struggling artists record and a record label to distribute the goods?
I've never been 'rich,' but when my salary was $8,448.00/month, I drove the same car, ate at the same restaurant and lived exactly the same as I always had. Fundamentally, I'm just a very happy guy and that's just natural and irrespective of my income. If I was to describe a 'splurge,' I would have to say I would hire a few well known musicians, form a super-group and tour the world...![]()
There we go! I'm not talking everyday life here, I'm talking winning $500 Million after taxes!
My salary is fantastic, but we don't spend hardly any of it...we never eat out because we are almost always disappointed with the food.
I work too much to travel a lot right now and neither my wife or me splurge on clothes anymore. I'm settling down on gear purchases...
...okay I'm trying to settle down.

Being like those helpful Honda guys would be cool! Only better surprises to deserving people...
