NFL Admits To Rigging Games...

Satire Daily does a good job in the name of Comedy. But, just to clarify:

The use of all video clips here fall within the legal standard set by the Fair Use Section of the Copyright Act of 1976, 17 U.S.C. § 107. This is not a real news story. Several short video clips have been edited in a way to give an entirely new narrative. Even the videos of the interviews and the News anchors have been heavily edited to create a new narrative. Including editing the ticker, Headline graphic, and on screen photos. This is done as a parody, to poke fun at the original clips as well as the targets of the video.
 
used to watch -- used to be a fan--even WENT TO THE HALL OF FAME A BUTT LOAD OF TIMES (It was in my home town) and we always attended the HOF game -- it was like MArdi Gras for Canton Ohio -- parades ( MEt JOe Green -- Bradshaw and a couple older inducties--- that I didnt really know their names but Grandpa was impressed) and cook outs and a BIG tadoo !!! Watched a LOT of the greats GET inducted---

I havent watched a pro football game in at least a decade or 2 ........ the INSANE salaries-- and the politicizing turned me off a LONG time ago. it could go away entirely and I wouldnt mind--- I turned our cable off -- upgraded internet speds saved over HALF my bill--- and we are ALL much happier..
 
I love watching the NFL. For entertainment. It's not the meaning of life, these guys aren't curing cancer, my identity is not intermingled with the result of a game, so I don't take it too seriously and frankly don't care what shenanigans are going on (although I honestly don't believe it's fixed). So since I just watch it for the entertainment value I don't get all butthurt when my team loses (looking at you Saints fans). Sure I hope the Rams win on Sunday because it'd be damn cool to have a Superbowl-winning team in town, but if they don't then so be it - I'm not going to look for a bogeyman to blame, just move on and wait for Baseball season to start.

played in high school--- good memories and lessons learned---but like the "action figures" I "out grew" the "sport"..
 
I definitely think there is some bias against some teams for teams with players the NFL wants to promote.
 
Like Tom BRady--- that lives in Malibu i BELIEVE??? ON A MULTIMILLION DOLLAR ESTATE -- and "commutes" to the East coast to thrwo underinflated balls......or play with his balls -- er- is centers balls--- or....never mind

I would spend a single cent to help this "athlete"

Actually no not him....did you see what the league did to him & the Pat's? Tom Brady actually doesn't ask for his market value so the Pat's can spread the wealth. Brady's wife actually makes more than he does. I can go deep into this discussion about players etc as I have been in the hobby for years and in many discussions about a lot of this. The 1st one comes to mind is Aaron Rodgers.
 
The deflategate has been disproven, fact is out of the 11 only 1 was actually under regulation & the couple balls measured of the other teams was deflated as much as the Pat's balls. Goodell had to make himself look good so he decided to suspend Brady for destroying a cell phone. That cell phone in question was turned down by Goodells team of hired lawyers. A team that has been discredited also. Brady had offered it and they told him and his lawyer they didn't need it & they had all the phones of everyone on the other side of the convo's. So when the new iPhone came out they destroyed the other one. Also would you honestly want to hand that phone over to Goodell who already leaked personal family e-mails? What if he had nudy pics of Jizzel on there and his team leaked that stuff to? Fact is they already said they didn't need it but Rodger had to cover his millions spent on the investigation so that is what he did. I have more details about the balls and what not but I would have to go dig it all up.
 
As a self-taught Bandwagon Fan who has spent time developing and perfecting the craft of Bandwagon Fan-dom, I will say I currently have no opinion on the rigging of games.

If they are rigged, it will add a new dimension to my decision-making process at the beginning of the post-season when I pick my Bandwagon Teams.

In addition to selecting teams based on such meaningful criteria as uniform styling, location, and mascots, I will need to anticipate the NFL-preferred team for that year.

This is doable, though it will be disappointing if I feel I need to pick a team because they are the choice of the NFL, but I don’t like that team’s uniforms or helmet logo.

BTW, ya’ll will notice that one of my chosen Bandwagon Teams, the New England Patriots, made it to the Super Bowl!

I still dont watch the foosball-- its another "game" that has gone completely out of control -- due to greed-and $ :)

I dont (you might want to sit down Smitty -- and S5) even watch HOCKEY!!!!!!

I will watch HIGHLIGHTS of Motorcycle racing -- and Rugby -- online-- cant sit still for a full game OR race---

see previous post I CANCELLED our cable -- no "TV" --- last show I "liked" was Big Bang theory and when the producer started pushing his personal religious and political views in the little messages after the show I said "F" that idiot as well. That and my CABLE bill carried 38.00 in FEDERAL-- STATE and LOCAL taxes and FEES---and ya know what "F" them guys as well!!! (the internet bill here -- has a 4.00 tax....Ill pay 4.00 --- not 38.00 for something I dont even LIKE.
No time for the boob tube
got critters need tending -- house needs mending -- gardens need weeding-- jobs need doing .....

Id rather work on a guitar repair/flip--- put new flatwounds on my Precision 50's bass....or pick fleas of a dog frankly.............

If I cant be actually PLAYING the sport --- I dont want to watch it -- just reminds me of my age and the fact I cant...........used to -- but cant
