Dang, worse than LA: I think our low was about 54 overnight. High about 65 today.
Well. Thought my snot was freezing on my mustache till I remembered I didn’t have one.
All schools in the area called off both today and tomorrow. Lots of businesses called off as well. Including mine. My car sits in a unheated attached garage so it’s still over 30. Starting no problem. Recently replaced both battery and starter so pretty sure had I gone in the thing should start after sitting out for 8+ hours. Just happy I didn’t have to test it.
And yes. I know as temps go in some of the northern states, this is nothing. But really cold for us might get to a -15 for a day or two. Normal for this part of Illinois is actually 20-30 this time of year.
But hey. Gives us all something to talk about for a few days.

We got to 66 today. Rain coming, but we really need it.
Pops went to the Bahamas to escape the cold this week.
