A fellow "flipper" informed he has sold a BUNCH of Peavey Gear to a guy in Sarasota that claims to have the biggest private collection of Peavey guitars in the country -- collect every model and every STOCK color combination IN that model-----

I gotta find this Dude! :)

Sadly They’re made there now. I honestly don’t think Peavey makes anything here any more.

I suspect Adrian hasn't worn a sweater since relocating to Florida.

Your right the Buddas are still stamped MI USA-- the 6505's are not--says China-- :(

Seeing as I mostly dont buy new gear (new Squire 50's CV bass excepted) very often -- there is a treasure trove of bargain low dollar HIGH QUALITY USA Peavey stuf floating around the gear market-- laying in sheds and back bedrooms and defunct bankrupt bar estate sales for me to be plenty happy for the rest of my days :)

I prefer Norlin era Gibbos over new---
08 MIM Fenders over new----
90's era Squires (for the most part) though the new CV is VERY well put together

Im weird what can I say

I've been a Peavey fan for many years. My first Peavey amp was a Vulcan Series 500 that sat on top of a 6x12 cab. The top two speakers tilted back and the other were vertical. I met two people playing that amp. One guy from a block away (diagonally) wanted to know who was playing guitar over his record player - lol - no exaggeration - at least that's what he told me when he came by. And, from a block in the other direction, walking back and forth to work, another guy wanted know who was playing guitar so loudly (again, no exaggeration). The last time the cops came by the house I was told next time they'd take the amp and I was like, ok, man - sorry, man - ok, man. When they pulled off we cranked back up and they never came back. It was funny. A buddy and me were jamming and kept thinking we heard someone hollering. We'd stop - hear nothing - start playing again. Well, about the 3rd time (can't really remember how many times, many moons ago, a teenager) we stopped and the cop kept hollering at us and we were like, well, probably laughing our heads off to be honest back then. Too funny in a way I guess, maybe not in others. But, they never came back - I guess they gave up. Wow, flashback memory from the past type thing there...

Cool video Adrian! Nothing earth shattering regarding the manufacturing process. Pretty standard stuff for electronics manufacture. Good to see the use of real plywood instead of MDF.
