New Look...

My beloved Godin Belmont guitar just got a new makeover with some control knobs that were on my Gibson SG and now are on the Godin which I think just looks perfect for this guitar...I'm stoked. The Godin had Gibson style control knobs which looked great but these other knobs which I think are on a Fender Jazz bass guitar or a Fender Jaguar match the theme of the guitar and being different sizes adds a bit of character. The volume knob is about twice the size of the tone knob and makes for easy control of the volume like doing swells and such. The original control knobs on the Godin are now on my Gibson and match the other knobs on the guitar. I just really dig the look so much.

It"s now called the Richmond Belmont but still under the Godin name. It is the town it's made in...Richmond, Quebec. This guitar sure has a great 1960's vibe. It's quirky & groovy...man.

It sure is.
Has kind of a Supro meets Airline grooviness, but with Godin quality.

I have very similar knobs on a 70s SG copy. I got mine from Radio Shack in the 70s.

Edit:

I was wrong. I replaced those with Radio Shack reflectors.

That looks cool & matches perfectly Chubbles the Chimp. I think I remember them Radio Shack knobs. I sure miss that store. They sold all kinds of neat electronic stuff. Now it's called The Source and all they do is sell smart phone accessories... that sucks!
