Do you like beef ribs?

I thought about putting this in "The Kitchen", but that would be a pun too far. I thought I'd show you my local butcher's window. He dry-ages beef for as long as you want it. About 35 days is what I go for. It's pretty amazing too.

Nice! My local supermarket has a really good meat section; Really knowledgeable butchers and a big cabinet for aging. Their t-bone steaks are fantastic. I actually had short ribs for dinner yesterday. Bought directly from a local farm. Very tasty stuff.

Local grocery store have ok beef. Works just fine for the every day grilled dinners. But when we're doing a blow out special dinner, be it just me and my bride or Christmas/Thanksgiving..... I have a local butcher shop I go to. The prime rib, ribeyes, etc are some of the best I've had.

I don't eat pork. It's a personal choice. When I used to eat pork, I loved pork ribs. The meat around the bone was tender. It's too much work to do it ourself. It takes time to do it right.

No. I don't care for ribs of any kind no matter how you cook them or cut them.

I don't see the point in knawing on a bone for a sliver of meat. I'll have a steak please...

The "lesser" cuts of meat very often have more flavor. They take longer to cook, but are TOTALLY worth it. I bought some veal cheeks from a local farm right before Christmas. Hive hours on a low heat in the oven, and we had the best meat I ate all year. And I regularly buy salted pork shanks and oxtail. Just fantastic. And ribs? Oh, those slivers are to die for! By the way, beef short ribs have tons of meat on them, just sayin'!:D

I also like the "everything but the oink" way of thinking when it comes to meat. When we kill for food [it is my personal opinion that] we owe it to the animal not to waste anything. But hey, I LOVE me a good steak...

Everything but the oink... Ha!

If it had the will to live (animal or vegetable), I'll eat it. I'm not very fussy, except for octopodes and insects.

My wife is Korean. She makes Beef Short ribs that people beg and plead for...I still can't stand them. I have tried ribs from places that are super famous for their ribs. Still a no go for me.

I’ve tried locusts and some larvae. While I wouldn’t call them tasty, at least they were interesting.

I've eaten silk worm larvae and various kinds of snails and other oddities. The small snails they sell on the street corners in Korea are awesome! I've also eaten horse meat and it was fantastic!

I don’t dislike beef ribs, though I rarely eat them. I do really like steak, but only eat it occasionally. I used to eat it far more often than I do now.

Most of my animal-based protein is derived from fish, poultry, dairy, and eggs.

I love meat, just not ribs, but I eat more chicken than anything else.

My family were farmers for generations and ate pork, beef or chicken for every meal. The last three generations from my grandma back have
lived into their 90's so I'm not worried about meat in my diet...
