If You're talking about groups, both names seem to exist. The band needing to turn their amps to 11 are the "Taps". Maybe 'cause their pots have that extra tap enabling them to play louder than even The Slade.

If anyone has followed many of my posts regarding some old artists I admired since becoming a rocker approximately at age 12 when introduced to the Beatles, Elton John, Queen, Frampton, VH etc,,,,,,,, I have always loved Steve Marriott's groups.

Here is one I never knew existed,,,,,,,,,,,,,, as was done when I was a mere 1 years old, I had no exposure to Kiki Dee till hearing her with Elton in the 70's

 
Very nice build Bea, well done. That certainly is a nice clean waveform. I can imagine it sounds really sweet. Cheers

Today i tried with the SG - guitar for the 1st time. Very nice clean sound, and the cab proved again that is good both for bass as well as for guitar (Eminence Delta 12 in vented cab)
 
Sound clips are really difficult to achieve here in my little appartement and with my very limited skills on guitar...
 
Well done!
Nice scratch / salvage build -thats right in my wheelhouse.
But, I am not ready to design circuits I just build and tweak the good ol standards.
