Yes it is. They are pretty nice for the discount price. Seller says they are made in Korea which is fine with me. The Korean factories are putting out good product. I paid more for necks that are not much better. I see no problem with it and the truss rod functions perfectly.

They must be using Canadian or US maple. I can't see them having naturally grown maple like that in Korea, but hey, what do I know?!?

They import the wood from the US and Canada as you suspect. I lived over there for 4 years and was able to see the way
things are done. It's one reason I have no problem buying a Korean made guitar.

Ok...Here's an idea...

You build another gold one - two-point tremolo - nice thick 'U' profile neck - swimming pool rout - then, become disenchanted with it and I can be your salvation....

...and, she's done! Tuners in, Strung Up, Tuned and Intonated! Just awaiting arrival of some string trees and a hard case to complete the deal!
