I don't know...you'll have to ask Ray...because I acquired a guitar that used to belong to him and only he knows the true value of that piece!

But...I believe from my research that we ended up very close to even...

Street value of parts - about $ 600. Then add a fret job, re-wire and retrofit for ADJUSTABLE P90s. Tone on that guitar - priceless. Here is a clip I put together for eESGEe before sending it off.

I was not planning on flipping the Agile because---as Ray shows the tone was KILLER-- full rich 335 ish vibe--- lots of bass--- out of a small 339 semi hollow body -- and Robert -- get this 27" scale (yes thats not a typo--TWENTY SEVEN) --- like a full tone 335 in a little package---

ACTUALLY I put the Ferengi Mojo JuJu curse whammy on it--- deaming IT SHALL BE MINE---and waited him out ;)
(similar to him and the Firebird---see he IS FERENGI!!!)

Naw really --- it just "worked out"--- except now I am surrounded by NO AGILE again.....damn this might not have helped me ...

Yeah, that video depicts 20 years of doing the radio show with Jeff. He was my best friend, colleague, teacher and brother from another mother. I can honestly say that if it were not for Jeff Levy, I would not be in the IT field for my career.

Even if Mr. PRS is a bit of an arrogant jerk (or not- just to make the point) if he makes a good product, runs a decent US based (some import I know) company,
makes good guitars at various price / value points, is not a criminal or pedophile, so what?
If his beliefs applied to his product makes a winner guitar, so be it.
Personal choice to add to his wealth or not.
I buy mainly used so, there's that too.

I have heard or read, and cant say how truthful or biased the report was - that Leslie West is or at least was back then - a "horrible human being".
I still love the music and was once again stumbling my way through Mississippi Queen, albeit a bit less clumsily, last night.

But yeah, I boycott people, groups, or products based on my personal measure of their (perceived) douchbaggery.

I own 7 core PRS which I have no plans to sell. He has enough of my money!
 
Mr. Paul Reed Smith is a very "complex" type of person. You have to give him lots of credit for his integrity, because he has a lot of it. I'm sure he would like to hear from his guitar buying clients that his products are the greatest, but there's a whole lot more to him. RVA threw Mr. PRS an RVA curveball... PRS didn't swing.
