BUAHAHAAHAAA!!!

I'm waiting on a CTS 3MRA pot that will be holding me up on my 6g2 build shortly.

Congrats, on the SGJ score, hope it lives up to your expectations. 2013 was a really good year for these "no bling" type SG's (I have a '60' tribute). I like the "no pickguard" look & they all seem to have really good beveling. Great workhorse type guitars. Hope it arrives soon. Enjoy. Cheers

Grant, not too many people know this about me, but way back when I was totally clueless owning or playing wise when it came to SG's, I did do a little catalog gazing to see which SG I might possibly like to acquire.

There were obviously Specials and Standards and Jr's, but back then I also saw there were push pull pots, various pups, Angus or Iommi type pups etc. Well, believe it or not, I really just wanted a Brown one. I would figure out the guts I wanted later. Anyhow, my black beauty with Bill Lawrence HB R and HB-L Circuit board pups got me started. Then as I was shopping at my local Music Go Round, I actually bought a Midtown Custom, but saw and tried out a used Walnut Faded. This Faded happened to be the guitar pictured above. I returned the Midtown and picked up the SG. It just called to me like a Siren. SO I completely understand why G wanted a sweet brown Gibby SG.
