In my LIFE, I often say...

Privattricker had a YouTube fued where people actually threatened his family. He disabled comments and then quit making videos all together due to the vile nature of some humans...

...he mentions the threats at around 7:00

This has happened to others as well -- its why Scott Grove stopped making his informative and often annoying videos--- I mena if you dont LIKE the guy then dont WATCH -- as I recall his family -- Grandkids even were threatened......

That is incredibly awful to hear. Not knowing anything before the other day of PT, I am almost speechless at this point about the threats. I had listened to the above clip up till about the 3 minute mark so I had no idea about any threats and crap like Sp8 mentions at about 7 minutes.

After viewing his new site and the video of him telling about the cancer, I commented this to PT/James James.

"James, I found you here after watching your Grand Funk I'm your Captain video. I had no idea what I was about to hear when I arrived here. First I will say it is because of your Privettricker clips and how I could not leave a comment. I opened up your page to find the Privetricker clip on Final Video post... I didn't click it, but instead clicked your link that brought me here. After seeing your message here, I returned to PT and viewed your post on Final Video. Both places bring up the big picture but for your side to your story as well as the story of each you tuber and the public in general. So, I want to thank you for allowing comments here, and to say my initial aim to give you a positive comment at the Grand Funk clip is still possible over here. To put my comment I hoped to share in perspective, all one has to do is view this clip of yours and see how serious your situation became and is. All my best in healing and beating Cancer, also to know you simply made videos to share with family and people like us who can benefit from your demos, makes me glad I can send positive replies instead of being " comments disabled" In the big picture, guitars, music etc are but folly when it comes to life or death. But to pass on kind words and to help someone like yourself enjoy his days on earth and to say we as mankind are better for your efforts, makes having comments possible all worth the negatives avoided when blocking them. From my little corner of the world to yours, thanks for posting your PUBLIC Service announcement here, and to a lesser degree, your fine videos of songs that many know and love. Let's hope you are able to do so for a long long time."

And hopefully in all our case, hopin we never have to pass a kidney stone either. I hear they are painful as all get out.

For sure! I know 2 people who have had them, they said the pain was so bad it put them to their knees with tears. Its bad for Women , and even worse for a Man.

much better--- when you have govt funded medical-- its not so easy to get these things done here in the states ---- especially if you have no insurance--
just getting a Doctor to AGREE to get certain testing for you can be a COSTLY event---then you have to pay for the test--- miss work to go to the doctor to GET the test---its a real P.I.A.

I hear what you are saying, I am aware of the U.S system. Canadians are well looked after, when it comes to Health care.

Wow sorry to hear; i couldnt listen but get the picture.

For a long time I have tried to find at least a little time on something for myself each day, to Live life, not just survive.
Never know when your ticket is gonna get punched, or when things might go sideways.

BTW... I have been, and continue to get a camera shoved up my butt every three years. I probably have enough for a year's worth of sitcoms... :cautious:
