I purchased a Mustang 2 this year, along with many other guitar items over the year used from Kijiji, some stuff was ok, some for flip and the Mustang was for keeps. I paid 80$ so not a big expense IMO

Got this amp home and used it for a few weeks, but !! It was missing some va va boom. I just thought that is was a cheap amp and what I had is what I got, I let Ninja King use it for a few months when he would pop round to make noise together. Meanwhile I picked up a Vox Valvetronic and was happier with that.

Fast fwd to today. I have my new to me, used hollowbody Peavey and thought this be the amp for this. So I decide to download the user manual, and that’s when I saw the reset to factory function

Yep, you guessed it, reset and boom I have a new wild factory fresh amp. Maybe this dumb ass should have done that months ago !

Just a small hiccup on what’s been a great year guitar wise for me, meeting Ninja, finding a singer and playing with a drummer

Happy new year to all !!

Lord loves a working man
Congrats those mustang's are a huge box of fun
I've had several of the 20 watt and the larger one with the 12 in speaker as well it is really all you could ever want for home use ...and a small coffee house gig or two

Did u know, the channel button on the Marshall foot switch work the presets on the Fender amp

I just found this out too lol

Don’t sweat the small details. We’ve all had to hit that proverbial reset button. Sometimes it’s a real reset button. Sometimes walk away and come back later with a different mind set. Get a second pair of eyes. Etc. The good deal is, you got it figured out and rockin..

Welcome to the club - none of us are alone ;)

Have you gone to the website and checked out the "preset downloads" ???? very cool -- you can load that thing up with smoe amazing tones -- not that the stock ones suck--- but WOW

Yeh that’s one thing I did do, I used the Fender Fuse and now I know how to save pre sets so all is good

It’s like I have got a new amp Lol
VERY versatile amps-- and to date (though I am just starting with the CUBE) they were the most reliable and easiest to "fiddle with" as far as the FUSE software--- and all its VERY user friendly -- Fender did a HELL of a job IMHO compared to the rest of the companies selling modeling amps with software and or "ap" tie ins

The Mustang always worked-- never Gliched or crapped out or crashed --- nothing like the Marshall COde-- the Peavey Vyper series is WAY to damn complicated --- and the VOX (you have) the software and online support does not seem anywhere NEAR as easy and user friendly as the FUSE--though the VOX amp and what comes pre loaded are VERY nice
