Well if there is insurance then that's not too bad but still just the thought of a good guitar getting thrown around whether it's FedEx or UPS is a bit disturbing to me.

Correct and it's going to be stuff we are not using. The idea is to try and find someone who can use the stuff.
I'm not worried in the least about shipping damage...
 
...I do however know there will be more than the $50 USPS insurance in the box just from what I'm starting out with!
 
Can I get some PEOPLE I have laying about to hand deliver the box?????? Hence ridding me of said "people" ......
