Im VERY impressed with the Guitar Madness line of pickups-----I WILL be buying from them again
 
They are worth a look.
I have a couple of his products and am happy with them.

I am interested their Super Distortion type offering (I think) - the Hexbucker, or whatever is comparable to the SD JB.
 
The specs on this "80's" special are the same as Johnny Goos 70's era SUPER DISTORTIONS from --- Dimarzzio I believe...

I was looking at putting Fender pickups in the p bass
But for 20.00 I can put guitar madness THUMPERS in it. .probably sound better...
The zebra Is a great fit easy install really sounds good...delivers as promised that 80s bucker tone and through the 80s Marshall.....total Hair Band mania
 
Adrains new pickup is the exact specs of my 70s Super D bridge pup i put in my Peavey Shredator. 13.5 ohms with a ceramic magnet.

Dang, my T Tops are only like 7.42 and 7.46 or around there somewhere. But boy they make my Epi LP sound sweet even with stock EPI electrics
 
this thing makes pinch harmonics happen at will-- it screams and wails--- but back off the volume it cleans up very nice-----

Willow is a special beastie always happy and smiling -- she is just a year old-- over 100 lbs and LOVES to cuddle and play we rescued her from a couple that had her in a crate 10-14 hours a day --they both worked-- then couldnt UNDERSTAND why the dog went APE SHITE and knocked the kids over when they let her out-- (humans --- rather DIM species)
SHe is ANatolian SHepard and Great Pyrenesse mix
In all actually-- when treated with care kindenss and training-- an intelligent and friendly family dog that LOVES children (and kittens--not as snacks) and is a great herd protector ---huge cuddle bug----and scares the PISS outta the UPS driver :)
 
A follow up as I learn to live with this beastie---

through the PEAVEY 112 Bandit-- which is a USA 90's era (I think) 100 watt 12" speakerd POWER house with Plexi tones a Mojo (ask Johan) --
and the 80's Zebra by GM--- Im NAILING that 80's Hairband rock and Sabbath MEtal tone all over the board-- IRon man never sounded so good :)
