Yesterday I posted a track in my SG Junior thread. Today I've worked a little bit more on it, adding a second rhythm guitar and some backing vocals. Again, everything is done quickly, so the timing will be sloppy in some places, and the sound quality is not exactly at a pro level. My production skills are very limited, but it is what it is.
Everything is recorded using my son's Røde NT-USB microphone. It has a set preamp level, which makes it prone to distortion, even at relatively moderate volumes from the guitar amp. This limits how I can record guitars, but it is still fun to work with.
The guitar in the right channel is the SG Junior, so are the two slide bits panned slightly to the left. The guitar in the right channel is the Telecaster I put together earlier this year, tuned to open E.
I might add some more backing vocals, but this is it for now. Any comments are welcome!
