7 Piece SHOW BAND!?!?!??! those SUCK!
Last night my extra guitar was my real 1956 Strat, I paid $550.00 for it 10 years ago. 2000-7 I sold my vintage guitar amp collection great timing.
Strange night full house first set second set people vanished some out of town 7 piece show band playing down the street. Our band had to step it up a notch
we got our audience back third and fourth set. But had to give it our all, management was happy, but at the end of the night felt like a one legged man in a butt
kicking contest.
To be honest, I have never seen locking tuners improve tuning stability over a factory Fender or Gibson (or Schaller Gotoh) tuner.
I have.
I concede there isn’t any great benefit for normal playing, but lockers made a definite improvement on my Strat with vibrato usage.
I gave my sister in law a 1964 Strat. We are in Auckland NZ shopping for a guitar amp for her.
So far I like the Friedman Runt 20 she is small so is the amp combo. Friedman Amplification - RUNT 20 COMBO
It does sound good with her guitar. I will build her dream amp when I get home
We tried the head and combo version the combo is the winner. Kimberley has a new amp
A real 64 or a reissue?
While I am no Strat man, that guitar gives me goosebumps. And the Vibrolux, oh, man! How does it compare to a brownface Deluxe?
I can attest to that -- It took me MANY MOONS and MANY stinkers bought and flipped---before I found a strat that FELT-- and SOUNDED the way I wanted-----
Im developing that FEEL Plexi--- (after buying 1/3 of the guitars in the U.S. -- and reselling them ---) Im finally learning to strum--- and if it DOESNT have that "thang" -- set it down and move on----
Like this one Adrian plays really sweet! A 2017 Godin Progression Plus.
