I am taking another try at learning some slide.
Can anyone recommend some good basic slide instruction?

Please tell me how to get close to the rhythm tone on this starting at around 1:00.
It has a good bit of crunch distortion but is not compressed a lot where the highs are squelched.
I am such a noob.
I tihink a lot of my problem is playing at lower volume where I am not getting any power tube OD, only fizzy preamp / pedals. Grrrr.

I must share that I dislike the solo at the end of "Heat," though I'm
a big fan of Steve's playing.

Love it, but I honestly feel the solo does not do the song true justice....IMHO
