Then after one gets Audacity or Reaper etc, they need a recording device whether it be the mic in your computer, or dedicated mic's or running your connection thru a mixer etc, correct?>

Komplete is just the audio interface box. It's made by Native Instruments. The DAW I use is Reaper with Amplitube plugins...

The video was an unboxing for a USB interface box, made by Native Instruments...a company that specializes in making virtual instrument, synth, and sampling software for use in DAW programs.

A lot of the boxes that you would use to get your guitar, voice etc. in to a DAW on your laptop etc, carry the name of a software producing company. Sp8’s is one example. Line6 is another hardware/software company...as is Presonus.

Too slow, no worries bastard. I have slowed my life down trying to keep the Blood Pressure in check without meds. Also yeah, I gave myself a cursory understanding of DAWS once RVA had need of help that day.
