New Gibson Solidbody Model Revealed

A PRS badly drawn in kindergarten. Everything in that shape is bleh. Tips that wash out with no hook to them, are the worst.

No, this is a poor effort - probably designed by a committee. It is nothing of anything. Makes no statement.

I actually kind of like the Tak Matsumoto guitar. I like the pickup selector on the upper bout. Unfortunately, it looks a little too similar to a Les Paul double-cut to be really distinctive.

One problem, though, is that "Tak Matsumoto" doesn't roll off the tongue as easily as "Les Paul."

Gibson hopes it will be the Next Big Thing... They keep trying to have one, and guitarists
have to keep slapping them back, saying "NO! we want the Last Big Old thing... made like we
claim you used to... We ain't fallin for no banana in our tailpipe!"

"Guitarists have been making it plain to Gibson that they want the '59 Les Paul, and the '63 'Bird
and the '66 SG etc etc etc... (add the model and year of your choice, as long as it ain't recent...)

Back to the first picture in the opening thread: did You notice the LP in Nato-green with Tremolo? To me that's a real design sin. Maybe it is a suitable instrument for the Bigband of the Bundeswehr (the German Army).

Forget about all that, what is the 4th guitar from the front, natural with double florentine cutaways? Looks intriguing!!
