In case all you Floridians who EsGee has or has not reached yet, Hack, Vox, Drumoid, etc. don't know, my girlfriend and I will be landing in Daytona Saturday after sightseeing Charleston SC to begin our morning.

Hoping to hang with those who can join Adrian and myself possibly Sunday or Monday if it works for you guys.
Adrian knows already, but I did bring along a couple SG's and my Steve Harris P bass for some show n tell time.

Well, we are another step closer. Arrived in Daytona tonight. Staying in an awesome hotel room a friend's dad let us use, and drove my girlfriend around historic Main Street, A1A, Beach Street, on south to my mobile home, and on around a loop around Daytona airport, Speedway, Embry Riddle univ, and finally back to our hotel.
Sunday we will likely go see my buddy in the trailer park, try to see if Daytona USA is open, and do general sightseeing for her in the daylight to see stuff she wasn't able to after dark.

I always travel w/ at least one guitar. Airports always search it, which is fine but every time they always get around to asking me, why are you bringing this with you? I always think it's a trick question, and always say the same thing .. Er, In case I feel like playing it? , on a trip I just play it, noodle around with it and whatever whimsy that might develop. They have no understanding of what I tell em. But the road case is airline approved n can be dropped out of a truck w/o a hint of injury. They told me it's looks like the cases travelers carry multiple high power rifle's to competitions with. It's usually filled w/a 71' strat thou any solid body Guit can fit it fine! Funny , they have no clue what there looking at until I tell em. I took it on my honeymoon in 88' and had a great jam with this multiple steel guitar band that I had seen in 80' in the Boston Commons .. my collage daze! I had a great time cept my liver was burning oil for three days after the wedding due to the abnormal consumption of Yeagermeister! Monday I'm feelin' a 61' SGLP special and/or a
Blond
Guild Starfire VI or a 66' 345. A Tweed Deluxe would be nice too but usually there's no 'lecric

Traveling with guitars. I man after my own heart. (y)

DonO, I gambled that timing and logistics and of course willingness on Adrian's part would make the extra work of traveling in and out of 3 hotels with 2 guitars and a bass all worth it.

I even brought a water heater and tons of mail I need to sort thru. I wished I could have brought my floor jack and brake job tools to replace front n back brake pads on her car, but didn't do so despite bringing the pads.

Adrian suggested hitting a guitar shop, to "try" amps.

We can do that -- you can actually SEE the Guitar SInner form the front porch of the Fords Garage---well the tip of the roof-- if you look at the right angle---anyway they are less than a mile apart--

THough Hack usually carries a couple very interesting battery powered offerings with him.

You should relax and enjoy this downtime my friend....
