Just ordered legal pot online

It's official. Cannabis is legal in Canada. I actually haven't smoked it in years but I had to try ordering it now that it's legal. It seemed very weird going to a government web site and ordering pot to be delivered by Canadian Post. No store in my town yet but I know a couple of licenses have been applied for.

We've had pot shops in LA for the last decade and I haven't been the least bit interested in smoking/eating any of the stuff. That's a part of my youth I feel is better left in the past. I guess I personally never enjoyed being high and preferred to stick with my booze.
 
I woke up this morning and the sky hadn't fallen, there was no carnage on the roads and I didn't see marauding packs of hippies and jazz musicians!

Sarcasm off.

There has been so much fear mongering going on in the media lately.

I find pot was MORE legal when it was illegal!
 
In California, cannabis is legal medicinally and recreationally. Your also allowed to grow up to six plants without a permit.

In my small town of Grover Beach, population around 10K, there are at least two dispensaries that opened up within the last year. In addition, there are at least three more dispenseries that are on file to open in Grover Beach.

To go inside one of these dispenseries, you have to register. Which means the government will have this data on you.

Also... Besides buying cannabis in its flower form (Buds!), there is also cannabis as edibles and oil concentrates.

We’ve got at least two “medical” dispenseries in our small town. Ironically the semi-legal dispenseries have been told to shut down effective today if they want to get a licence to sell it legally Technically they are breaking the law because their pot does not come from a licensed distributor. No tax has been paid on it. The penalties for selling non approved pot are greater than it used to be for selling pot. Our governments, federal, provincial, and municipal all want their cut or you will face the consequences.

Don't blame you there gball, I can live without it myself and the wife drinks enough beer for the both of us....
