To What Are Yee Listenin' Right Now?

I'm listening to the greatest Nordic rock band ever. The Danish band Gasolin' was the biggest band in Scandinavia in the seventies. They were formed in Copenhagen in 1969 and released a string of hit records until they disbanded in 1978. Singer/rhythm guitarist/main songwriter Kim Larsen continued the success as a solo artist and was a national hero in Denmark, and equally well loved in Norway and Sweden. Gasolin' is a large part of the soundtrack of my youth, the high school years in particular. Sadly, Kim Larsen passed away this morning, after having been ill for quite a while. He was to tour Norway this summer, but had to cancel the dates because of his illness. It is hard to describe how big he was here, but he was BIG. Btw. the guitar player from Gasolin', Franz Beckerlee, was also a hero of mine. Here are a few samles of their work (they sing in Danish):
