Line-6 Amps:

That said, I do have a futon/couch in my music room, so....
...but I use the amps more often.

The Blackstar 100 is my main recording amp because its quiet and versatile.

The Marshall VS265 is pretty much dedicated to the 12 string side of my Double Neck, and students often play through it.

The Line 6 and Jackson 4x12 is only used for live performances. The DSL40C hasn't been used in a long while...

It’s your gear... I like having a variety of tools available...wether they are used often, or not.

I have a basin wrench...I don’t use it often, but I’ve been REALLY happy that I do have it a couple of times.

I understand you completely. I am happy in the metal genre and I avoid all other kinds of music intentionally....unless the pay is really extraordinary. And, TBTH, the DSL40C is great for AC/DC covers, but that's about it...

You know, I was up early today and just evaluating all my music stuff. I've always been a buy new fellow. But this used Line 6 head and used Jackson 4 x12's have brought me more enjoyment and more monster tone than all my other high dollar purchases. Plus, no pedals are used or needed.

Just noticed Guitar Sinner has a Spider II HD75 head demo - with original packaging - for $75.00

Maybe a good backup....

Funniest thing...I used to play with my VS265 and my DSL40C running in tandem, splitting them at my DD-3, and before that, I played through my JMP-2203 and twin Marshall 4 X 12's. On top of that, I have played through borrowed and/or loaner Blackfaces, Bassman's, and just about every other amp one can imagine. Last week, we played a local biker club, just to test the waters and see how we sounded. This was the first time EVER I had a compliment on my guitar tone, and several people commented in exactly the same way, so I know it wasn't my imagination...though a $100 POS Line 6 and second hand pair of 33 year old Jackson 4 X 12" 'Junker' cabinets...

Go figure!!!

I have a Line 6 Flextone III 60W 1x12 combo. I bought it to take to rehearsals so I wouldn't have to lug my tube heads and cabs and risk damaging them.
It sounds OK. Not great but not bad. It certainly sounds better as the volume increases but not so good at bedroom volumes.
