Ivan, I agree. I have one lightly finished SG in Walnut. While it doesn't have 24 frets like the SGJ's do, it feels so comfortable and perfect to play.
For a used piece, $400 with a case for a Gib LP is a great buy, especially in US vs Canadian $$$

I really like how that Axe looks, Leeds. 490 and 498 huh. I am pretty sure my SG Faded has 490R and T's

Oh WOW, Leeds.

I am the total opposite, I suck at chords especially the ones up by the headstock. My ear always moves my fingers for lead play before rhythm.

I am trying to cull the herd a bit and pare down the number of guitars I have. I did a 2 for 1 swap last Friday but still spent some cash to get the 1 in the deal. It was a VERY unnecessary purchase and a bit too impulsive but it is awesome. Maybe I'll bring it tomorrow night, if you ask nicely!

Yes it is. But since the SGJ got 24, I got curious to see if LP followed or stayed as normal allotment.
