NGD Gibson LPJ

i picked up a few guitars over the winter and finaly traded them this month making around 80% on my investment and had some fun with them too.

My GOAL !

One day I will own a Gibson that everyone raves about, the new LPJ or the Satin had the look I like. So my quest begins.

Well, a nice man 2 hours from my house said he sell me his satin red LPJ and I grabbed the chance. I paid about half retail for this 4 year old, in US Dollars it was just around 400$, plus it has had new strings and a set up at the chaps local guitar store. It plays like butter and smells like white chocolate ! Wow

I got the almost new hard case with the deal.

That's a really nice red finish showing the wood grain...very lovely indeed. Did you get it in Durham region or in Toronto? And also what kind of pick ups are in it? They look like EMG's.

Yeh they are plastic but black on red is a HOT look for sure

Of course! I actually used to play bass guitar in a few bands back in the 90's. I have a Peavy Minx 110 bass amp but no bass guitar. I sold it so I could get myself a black Jackson King V a while back. I'd like to get a bass guitar some day. I really like bass because it's easier to pick up tunes by ear. I'm fairly good on bass guitar...it's fun to play.
