Wanted to hit something with a hammer SO MUCH AND SO BRUTALLY (well since I got a divorce from the first wife) as this


While visiting one Drumoid Q. Esquire -- AMplifaction artist to the stars (well me) and purveyor of all things "funky" and electronic--- he showed me this

Which is basically a (70's ish????) version of this

To make one of these hideous and vile things

Sound tolerable................. wow..........

looking at the wires and transistor/former/capacitants--- er thingy ma hooters......just gave me a deep--- soul felt desire -------to SMASH THE E OUT OF IT WITH <MANY AND MULTIPLE HAMMERS OF VARIOUS SIZE AND WEIGHT.....till dead....

however there MIGHT be hope --------

I spoke with an accordion player that has owned the Cordovox stuff and that tone generator is made to go with two different Cordovox models. The Cordovox Super VI CG-6 and Cordovox Super VII CG-7. However, I've watched a video that someone was using an old keyboard to play through it. So, short of finding someone with one of those accordions or a key that will plug in I'm not sure I'll be able to test it properly. So, I'll either be sitting it off to the side or modding it to a standard preamp and cutting the cab down to head size...

I have been listening to a couple Mountain CDs on and off quite a bit the last several months and am really becoming familiar with Leslie's playing style.
Hearing / understanding what I am hearing.
Playing it, not so much.
