Going Wireless:

I’ve used wireless for about 20 years. I have an Audio Technica system, DR-R5 with a ATW-R09 taransmitter and DRT-500 receiver. It’s a UHF system operating at 944.1 MHZ.

I replaced that with a Shure PGX D1 system last year. It operates at 902.928 MHZ. The Audio Technica system is yours if you want it, just PM me an address. It’s in great shape, only used at home and in the studio.

Whoa! Dude! Thanks!

I'm not sure what RD stands for. I have a 1978 Standard RD first long scale guitar Gibson built ebony finger board maple body and neck.

The cheap wireless units just eat battery's When our band plays out I use 4-6 guitars

UPDATE:

I been using this Audio Technica Wireless Unit I got from Don O for about 2 weeks now. It has really added a new dimension to my playing at our rehearsals. It really works well and does not seem to 'color' the guitar's tone in any way. It's really liberating to be free from a cable...Thanks again, Don!!!

Robert, glad it found a good home! I’m certainly a wireless fan.

Gibson RD Artist

I've wanted one for many years

RD Artist = 25.5" scale

RD Custom = 24.75" scale

1977-1980 Gibson RD Standard/Custom/Artist all 25.50" scale maple body and neck finger board maple or ebony no rosewood.

Gibson did reissue the RD but in 24.75 scale only. The original RD was Gibson's first long scale guitar. I do own the RD Standard 1978 it was a gift from Blues Mike. Huge stock case.

How strange to offer a Gibson in such an oddball scale length...
