and Bobby’s annoying drum playing with his new kit.

Here's an in-depth review of that famous Deacon Jones episode, "The Drummer Boy."
There are two plots: Peter’s dilemma of singing in the glee club conflicting with his football playing;
and Bobby’s annoying drum playing with his new kit.

Deacon Jones used to live just around the corner from us until he passed away in 2013. We got to know his wife afterwards through some HOA activities. She has since sold the house and moved closer to her son.
