Go to time 9:46 He is using . . . . . Mesa Boogie Dual Rec. Blue Angel."and that is just the "NATURE" of buying a Gibson" well------ wow---o.k. then---
I --- LOVE Les Pauls--- but TBTH --- in that video with that rig the Gretsh slayed.......
PErhaps you should send it to me for a battery of swamptasticall testing and rigorous workouts?

Id have expected at least a dozen .......your slipping John![]()
I'm finding that I like the Gretsch copy that I made to be my favorite guitar these days. For the same reasons that the Gretsch sounded nicer on stuff in the video. It has great cleans, and even when running hot with some gain into a Hiwatt with a Prince of Tone, JJ Rocket Archer, and a delay pedal, it has a clarity I don't get out of my Gibsons. As a die-hard Gibson fan, I never thought I'd be saying that. My Billy-Bo also has the stock Japanese made "High Sensitivity" Filtertrons in it, not T.V. Jones pickups. I think that they measured around 5.8 Ohms, but have no significant volume change when switching between that guitar and a Gibson.
