Any knowledge of ...

If you don't like the metal image, go natural. Otherwise the black is quite nice too...

Feeling the same BUT if I decide the proposed purchase is a failure I think black will sell on faster, kid stuff and all.
On the other hand my doubts should tell me to hold off.
Hmmm.

I almost bought one of these a few weeks back......local pawn shop 150.00 .........I am outta room and $$$ or it would be here

I agree with Alex. The natural finish does have less of the heavy metal image with it.

But, what would make you think the purchase is a failure? Having it for awhile and deciding you just don't care for it?

I could see that happening. Maybe go back to the store a couple more times and play it some more to see how you get on with it? I've done that with amps. I've gone back and played amps after I was sure I wanted them, and decided after a couple more times that I didn't care for them.

Then again, I did try that with my Marshall DSL-5C and ended up buying it!

I'm doing just that, yesterday I didn't communicate with the local store but on phone found the best deal in my state. I'll go to my store 2 or 3 more times (only a 10 min drive away) and fall further in or out of love with it. My store also has a 5% price beat policy for same product advertised elsewhere so I covered that on phone yesterday.
Thanks for comments.

oh.uhm.........DO IT

Oh OK you big bully.
Wasn't going to but I don't want to get into your bad books.

Got the natural rather than the punk black, somehow a little more conservative.
I owned it for 10 min and now it's gone ...

Mrs Gasket said "I'll have that, thank you very much".
And now it's firmly planted on her "go to" wall.

Back to this Schecter ...
Just took opportunity to test the BIG selling feature, yes ladies, gentlemen & Adrian, the glow in the dark fret markers.
As to be expected ... what a lot of cobblers! Yes in total blackout conditions the side dots do glow but really, if the lights go out so will the power to your amp :-(
So far regarding the real feature both Mrs Gasket and I are liking it a lot.
