Easy Lock Guitar Cables - 1980's

look like nice cables

To repair a bad cable, unscrew the barrel, cut about 1/2" off the cable and screw the ends back in place. That's it.

A few months ago, I saw a guy on a gear forum trying to sell some of them and I could never get in touch with him....Now, I cannot get any hits on "Easy Lock Guitar Cables" other than my own.... :-(

Loved these cables back in the 80s too. Just picked up my guitars after a very long hiatus & thought it'd be good to get some more of these beauties, but alas they're not to be found.

I did however find these: Lava Cable - High-End TightRope Kit and Plugs

Available in the UK (I'm based in London) from scan: Evidance Audio SIS Kit 1

Only thing is the lead is 90 degrees to the plug. Other than that they look pretty good.

Hope that helps.

I MISSED an auction on Reverb recently for about 10 of these genuine "Easy Lock" cables from the 1980s!!!!!!

You could just go with George L's. They work the same way, and have the benefit of being the best-sounding (meaning most neutral) cables I have ever used.
