THIS--- is everything a guitar is should be and ever needs to be!
----now I ask in all honor to this lovely instrument which I have mentioned on several occasions as being AWESOME!---
Does it have a pcb board?????
I am not CRAPPING on Gibsons Biddy--- I am crapping on PCB boards--- thats all![]()
you would run it by hand just ta save a few buck's !
Not anymore you can stop in any Buckee's and see that ! My Buddy that's head of maintenance in some condo's actually palces game cameras
to catch the dog and cat pooh Offender's PICK UP THE POO OR BE FINED AND FLOOGED and the City of Houston considers dog pooh a Bio hazrd
and has the same public park and there are actualy Park police assigned Tp POOP patrol.

TRue dat!!!And of course, each guitar must be judged for its own merits.
exactly---no you didnt ---- and drive my point even harder---- you said (with your bald guy graphic) I had to spend over 500 to get a good guitar----but you just list all the coveted GOOD Gibsons you own that DIDNT COST anywhere near that---- you sir just bit yourself in your own arse--I never said anything about used guitars
...arse...
You're the only one hung up on price. My only hard line is, Show me the SX, or whatever Rondo brand, guitar that I will trade any of my Gibsons for. You can't and you wouldn't make that trade either. It's just bluster and hyperbole.TRue dat!!!

So CAN I get a good guitar for under 500 or not?? you tongue with forked speak--
---and smitty laughed out loud at least twice----
you dont like SX or Rondo-- got it
Y'all need to work on that readin' comprehension, son. I'm considering a Rondo solid body at the moment, but I can't seem to find any space for it. I'd also like a Epiphone Riviera custom, still, no room........I like Rondo guitars and have seen quite a few.
AWH CRAP--------I am supposed to read ALL the words-------- HELL this is going to be like work or something now!Y'all need to work on that readin' comprehension, son. I'm not opposed to PCBs, but for me I'd want tighter tolerances to spec, and the HP LP dip switch wiring.
You'd need two boards per model (in theory), the Gibbo preferred 300k and the (optional accessory) everyone else preferred 500k version. A couple molex connections and a couple nuts done up and it's a new axe. EZ PZ and nobody gets burnt. Heck, go one better and put it in a shielded housing and call it a day.
I'd love to get my hands on such a rig.

I like those "personality" cards. I think they did make a prototype Les Paul with something similar in '13 or '14, but abandoned it, when they saw the writing on the wall. The fact is, Americans, who make up the biggest portion of Gibson's customer base are Luddites. Someone said it the other day, "Perception is reality." If Joey Thumbledink says "Point to point is better, because it's time tested." the fact that all technical industries, like aerospace and medical , embrace the printed circuit board and have for decades, is irrelevant.Just sayin', Gibby could do the same thing.
