Yup.... JohnnyGoo has at least a couple PGK builds to his credit. And, I have experienced one PGK build already, with my SG Junior, aka: Norton... all JohnnyGoo's fault, thank you.I think Goo used them for his SG build---- your in for some fun !!! and an awesome axe.
Fortunately, no damage. Funny how the "Fragile" label is right next to the goober on the box...Man that is one fine lookin box....Hope there wasn't damage to the guitar after seeing the box.

Right when the UPS delivery guy showed up, I was getting ready to take off for a practice session at my friends. I got pretty excited, and quickly took and posted that pic for this new thread. Also quickly open the box to make sure the goober on the box wasn't something more serious.Settle down, guys.
So far, all we’ve seen is a picture of a box.
Let’s not forget the credo, “Pics, or it never happened!”
Sorry, Sysco. But, we need a bit more of a reveal, Bud!

Oh there are a LOT of things at my house that fall under that categoryall JohnnyGoo's fault, thank you.

"The body really is ready for painting"
This line scares me. I hope you use that term to include stain and seal. It would be a shame to put a solid color over that wood grain.
"Painting" was used loosely. Definitely staining and allowing for the wood grain to show. I asked PGK's, Phil Cook, if he could pick out some swamp ash with interesting grain patterns, and that I intended to finish the guitar in a butterscotch blonde color which shows the grain. Not sure if I'll stick to the butter-blond color, though. Not really sure in how I'm going to finish this one. Oil? Laquer? I've been trying to learn more info on Wudtone products... check it at: Finishing – DIY Kits - Wudtone Custom Guitar Innovation | Hardware & FinishesThat lumber is so nice id stain it
Yes sir. Will this be an Esquire project?
