Ambassador of Strings & Wings
Country flag
Stacked up for miles , hundreds of people waited to collect a weeks worth of groceries from food banks. Waiting for hours to stock up on groceries, file for unemployment assistance, cast their ballots, and pick up boxes of donated food in Pennsylvania.

People lined up in their cars at a food distribution site in San Antonio, Tex., on Thursday.

????????? Careful what ya read Norm-- the media loves to play games and sensationalize --everything--what ya see aint always what they IMPLY yur seeing--

that is the "cover photo" from a new york times online article--- and the caption if you scroll over it says san antonio tx.
and here is video of the event -- from San Antonia Paper--- but notice how the NY Times takes a SLIVER and makes it appear to be worse than the video shows which looks orderly well staffed and functioning ---

--note how they ZOOMED IN on the FULLEST section of parking area-- and used that????? -- MARKETING trick-- (I know many used to work for Ad Agencies and News Papers)

the NYT article goes on to show many other more "believable" pics -- with much lower numbers.....in other areas of the country (not even Pennsylvania)

and statements like this below ALL THE WAY AT THE END of the article with your pic at the top---Note she says ---just 2 rows of cars-- and that the line moved "efficiently and quickly" ;)
-- no panic-- no riot--- no murders---
and I quote:
"Outside of Pittsburgh, Danielle Small pulled up 90 minutes early to a food distribution, but found two long rows of cars already ahead of her. Money was getting tight after her boyfriend had to take a pay cut, and she decided to make her first trip to a food bank this week.

She said the line moved efficiently as cars pulled ahead in clusters of 10. After Ms. Small, 32, received a box filled with chicken fajita strips, preserved peaches, fruit, nuts and juice, she mouthed, “Thank you,” to the volunteers and drove away."

--- they use a pic like that as "click bait" to reel you in --- and that is how MISS information spreads like wildfire on the web--

Im not saying its not bad --- people ARE hurting and out of $ and patience---but-- -just be careful, what you see isnt always REALLY whats going on ;)

ANd the PANIC in PANdemIC is provided by the MEDIA (who are selling ad space and newspapers and Subscriptions--you'll get a pop up if you click on the New York Times article to subscribe)-- so dont ever forget that -- they are out to make a dollar as much as they are out to INFORM you -- of the REAL STORY--

Saw that on the news. It’s getting bad. Other than trying to not catch this virus... one thing Mrs. IbLive and I can feel safe in is finances. Taken most of our time together, but we’re finally in a good place. That takes one concern off the table for us. 10-15 years ago we could have been sitting in the same lines. We have been blessed.

I get what you’re saying Adrian. Watching news this morning they were showing lines of cars waiting to pickup supplies. Different towns. The lines were long and slow..... not like the photo long.... but lots of people. It’s not good.

again not down playing the real need out there and the fact folks are hurting---

just saying to be careful and not believe EVERY image your fed -----most are high in calories (and B.S.) :)

QUESTION EVERYTHING --- except me Im always right BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

now ---
SEND ME ALL YOUR GEAR--- ALL OF YOU -- NOW -- hurry -- PM me for my address..........

lol ---

I get not down playing the real need and the fact folks are hurting, etc, we and other we know are some of those people. On the other hand when the media runs footage of an Italian hospital having a hard time keeping up with things (which wasn't a good situation for those people actually living thru that) to people in Pennsylvania making them think it's happening in Pennsylvania, well, stuff like that should be a punishable crime period - they do it way, way, way too much now days. Anyways, not going to get into a debate about it, but that's my feelings on it none the less...

SO wait are you sending me your Gear??? HEck I can just come pick yours up in an hour! ;)

GOOD RULE OF THUMB EVERYONE----- the media ASSUMES 90% of the public WILL BELIEVE whatever they say --(IM NOT JOKING I ve worked for 2 different Newspapers in Florida and at an Ad Agency who had a WHOLE "political Spin" department---in Alabama -- )
"Buyer Beware" is ALWAYS GOOD PRACTICE------- and YOUR THE BUYER watching/reading/using their product---

It's hard to believe that this could happen in Texas.
