I had to down size because in a hurry to make my friends and neighbors happy I have forgotten to take all my stuff. From a big listening room and killer stereo system. A very very nice guitar studio that had everything you could want to record your band. The space shirked from 57 feet by 112 feet to a few inches between my ears.
I hate headphones and earbuds or one of my demons. I have tried to adjust to my lot in life.
I go thru headphones, plastic at critical stress points and wires with invisible hands that grab at every thing. The ones in the pictures are only recent, I love the Sony, big blue tooth blue ones cracked and fall off. The red Panasonic are very very old and have been repaired by me a couple of times. The crazy LYT pull hairs out and I didn't know that I had hair there. The nasty buds, they just plop out.
WHAT GOES ON BETWEEN YOUR EARS? Oh I near forgot I have a pair of JBL in white on the way. See the box below!

That’s one of the reasons I bought an orange amp, the headphone out. I bought a 1/4” Bluetooth transmitter for some nice bluetooth headphones, but the delay is way too much. Went back to wired.

The real expensive headphones and headphone amp are way past my favorite year of cognac. You guys might remember Greco phono cartridges from fun times. Old man Greco was still alive and lived in Charlotte NC close to my brother. He went to the audio meetings to show off his stuff that can really make you drool. I bought a set of his headphones and amp, headphones broke on the plane. I got into upper end headphones and I had some grow legs in my office. Miss Lucky number two fell asleep and would freak out then toss them. Not so in that high end world of sound. I bought the first pair of wireless and the electronics took a poop. I went up a few bucks and they slowly fell apart. The Sony's in one picture are great but the plastic frame cracked in the same place as their $20.00 phones. Next on deck are the JBL shown on the box up there. I know nothing about them just name recognition.

I have tried the transformers and you are so right! Like those Japanese movies when they talk and you hear like three words ten seconds later. I bought this one from Best Buy and it never really happened.

IMG_8008.JPG I not a kid but I do behave like a 7th grader, I can read on an eighth grade level. My hearing has taken a beating over time and I have hearing devices in the drawer next to me. High level audio like
Mr gball speaks of is wasted on me. I listen to Sirius Radio and it is not a very clean music delivery system. I listen to music on my iPad with headphones. I use my phone with different Bluetooth speakers. Again a name I know Harmon Kardon sold a speaker that turns out to be crap. I'm not getting fooled again. So I bought speakers I knew were crap. Two, one is a backup.

I might have to invest in some headphones after all.;)

I brake stuff but some stuff is made stupid. I need headphones to block out the TV and the other junk that comes with a big city life. I knew I was an urban animal and I met my lot in life head on. I wore my ear protestors from the gun range. I put them on and sound of weird voices came into my head and how did the cat know the gun needed loaded. Headphones with music or how to videos shut up cats, tv and people who live in the walls. This time I know what is going on so I bought JBL phones. White to match my iPad, nails and children. I really like them and my first was a guy selling a Range Booster for treble. I like the light weight White JBL phones at 59.00. Here lookie .

Kev I am assuming JBL makes different Models, which model and number are those you have there?

Yes they do make a few in the E Series. These are E45BT and a few different colors. I looked at my bill and these are re manufactured. I paid $59.00 for them, the regular price is $79.00 and they sound good. Re manufactured mean one pair of these headphones will piss off two people, the first guy and me, Mr sloppy seconds.

IMG_8051.JPG IMG_8058.JPG They comfortable enough and don't fall off. You can wear them like the way shown by my beautiful male model. Wearing headphones like this is popular mostly in black or poor neighborhoods. I would do it like that because I never get out of the car. I'm in the car right now because I had to sleep in it. She and she changed the damn locks again. I hate to do a poop in a car ash tray because it's not even my car.
