Since it is getting to be that time of year, I thought I would start a new thread instead of going off topic in the grill thread.

What do you like to do for crock pot dishes?

Yesterday, I started the first beef stew of the season. It should be ready in about another half hour. I am pairing it with a hometown bottle of Schauß Pinot Noir. I‘ve been salivating the past hour waiting to grab my first bowl of stew.

I did beef stew just last week! Couldn’t wait to do my first fall stew. I don’t use the crockpot for mine though....at least not often.

Thanks Don. There are certain things I like the crock pot for. Stew is one of them. Other stuff, I‘ll use a pressure cooker or quicker means to the end.

I think this is what people who dont KNOW think Guinness tastes like then they taste it and go EWH YUK HOW DO YOU DRINK THAT --- and I take their beer/ lol

but this -- is --- well CHOCOLATE
